Bit is
a 7 year old, 16.3 + hand 1100 pound chestnut TB
gelding. His donor reports that he has a good
temperament, smart and respects his handler’s space.
He clips, bathes, cross ties, comes when called and
can catch in an open field.
He is
good with the vet and farrier. He is current on
vaccinations, worming and dental care. His donor
does note that he does have a bone chip in his right
knee, but this does not effect his soundness. He is
limited to flat work only – NO JUMPING! He has no
saddling/girthing/bridling issues.
He is
currently being ridden 3 times a week. His donor
states professions that Bit would do well with now
or with training would be English Pleasure, Huntseat
on the flat or Trail Riding.
The
recommended level of experience of handler on ground
is beginner and minimum level of rider is advanced.
Bit’s
donor feels the best situation for him would be an
experienced home who can continue his training with
consistency, a kind soft hand and patience.
We do
have further information available on Bit. His donor
is more than happy to speak to and answer any
questions to approved adopters about Bit.
